I just got off the phone with U.S. Immigration. And, while they haven't always been my favorite government office in the past, they sure are right now.
After just sixteen (yup, one-six) days of waiting...
WE WERE APPROVED THIS MORNING!
And that's pretty much the best news anyone could have given me today.
Watch out China, one gigantic stack of paperwork is headed your way soon. (Well, headed your way after quick visits to our state capital, our national capital, and our agency's U.S. office.) This mama is one gigantic step closer to holding two adorable little boys. Can't. Wait.

ReplyDeleteCongrats! I know what a huge step that is! We are just a tad ahead of you...DTC on 3.27. I'm blown away by the 16 day wait! Yay for you and holla for USCIS! Our I-800A took 21 days from the time we mailed the application until we had approval in hand...with a medical expedite. I'm amazed how quickly yours came. Just wonderful! Congrats again!
