Snow Day!

November decided to go out with a bang this year.  We got our first Winter Storm Warning on Tuesday afternoon; by Wednesday morning we had about 6 inches of fluffy white stuff covering the ground.  Lil' Miss and I were both pretty thrilled.  (I love snow now...won't love it so much in three months.)

Lil' Miss and I enjoyed a great day with four special girls (one of whom is a teacher and got to join us courtesy of the 2011-2012 schoolyear's very first snow day :).  Here are some pictures from our super fun day in the snow.

I think it was Miss R's first snowman too.  She wasn't sure what to think of him.

Once everyone got cold, we put the little girls down for naps and played Settler's of Catan.  All in all, it was pretty much a perfect day.  (Well, as perfect as a day can be without flip-flops or sweet tea.)

Check back for a mini-update on Monday.  I'm hoping I can share the whole story (and pictures of a super cute someone I know you'll want to meet) by the end of next week.  Please pray for some details that still have to be worked out before I can totally spill the beans.  Because I am dying to right now.
